Full-Time Parks Maintenance Position II | Job Description

The Town of Carbondale is accepting applications for our Parks Department full-time benefited Parks Maintenance II position. Position performs maintenance and construction duties on Town parks, athletic fields, open spaces, playgrounds and public facilities such as mowing grass, landscape, irrigation systems and general maintenance duties. Light equipment operation is a requirement of this position. A valid Colorado driver’s license is required. Physical exam, pre-employment and substance abuse testing will be required. Work hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm for a 40 hour work week, There is overtime, weekend and holiday hours also available at times. This is a salaried position with benefits. This is a grade 20 non-exempt position with a salary range of $44,167-$61,833 depending on qualifications. Applications are available at the top of this page. Position is open until filled. Temporary/Seasonal Parks Maintenance Positions | Job Description

The Town of Carbondale is accepting applications for our Parks Department temporary/seasonal positions. Position performs maintenance duties on Town parks, athletic fields, open spaces and public facilities such as mowing grass, landscape maintenance and general maintenance duties.  A valid Colorado driver’s license is required. Physical exam, pre-employment and substance abuse testing will be required. Work hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm. Starting pay will be $22.00/hour depending on qualifications.

Rec Assistant (Ongoing) CRCC Rec Assistant

This position reports directly to the Athletics Coordinator. Performs a variety of duties in relation to the Carbondale Parks and Recreation Department’s programs. This includes assisting  of recreational activities: youth programs, special events, sports leagues and tournaments, youth field trips, and youth hikes. Other duties may include assisting with maintenance and care of park grounds and facilities.

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule (programs are often mornings/afternoons/evenings and/or weekends).  Max 30 hours/week. Pay Range $17-$19/hour
